Southview exists to lead people to Know God, Grow in faith, and Go in God’s power. This simple statement is the catalyst for all we do as a church.

Know — We were created for a relationship with God.  This is to be a growing, loving, passionate relationship.  We seek to introduce people to a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ, and then to express their love to God and continue to grow in their relationship with Him.
We express our love to God by living for Him, spending special time daily with Him, and joining other believers weekly in group worship. 

Grow – As relational beings, we mature best in a loving environment with other believers where we are loved, cared for, and held accountable.  Our adult Journey Groups are small groups where people grow in their understanding of God and His Word, build relationships with others, and live life together!  Our children and student ministries provide large and small group environments that foster growth and the development of healthy relationships in the next generation while partnering with parents to strengthen the godly growth of families.

Go – As God transforms our lives into a reflection of Him bringing hope, healing, and a renewed life, we naturally pour out His love on others.  As God transforms us, we can turn around and invest in our neighbor...we can GO and be a light to our world.  Our desire is to see every Christ-follower utilize his or her talents, abilities, and life experiences to help meet the needs of others in Jesus' name.  We encourage believers to commit to a weekly area of service in our church or community for Christ.
