Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed.

The goal of the AWANA clubs is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The AWANA club is based on 2 Timothy 2:15, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

When?		Wednesday Evenings 6:30-8:15pm
Where?		Southview Baptist Church
How?		Each club teaches the Bible and presents the Gospel during counsel time, focuses on scripture memorization during handbook time, and builds teamwork during game time. Children are motivated to learn scripture by earning awards for handbook sections completed. Children are taught to hide God’s word in their hearts so that they might not sin against God.
