Teague's Home for Women exists to: - Provide emergency short and long term home, help and refuge - Help in social, personal and professional development - Create an atmosphere where lives can be changed, bad habits destroyed, past hurts can be healed, deliverance found from compulsions, ill mannerisms and inappropriate social behavior can be changed For more informaton about this ministry contact our church office. Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?"
The Alms House was established in 1984, involving twelve churches in and around the Hope Mills area with the goal of assisting those in dire situations. Today there are fourteen churches and Sunday school classes actively involve in support of the Alms House, as well as many local schools, businesses, clubs and individuals. The Alms House is an IRS recognized non-profit agency. The Alms House assists with utilities, housing, medicine, food, clothing, household items, school supplies, and Bibles. Assistance is not determined by income, but by need.
