Welcome to the KidsView children’s ministry at Southview Baptist Church! We serve children from birth-5th grade. Our goal is to partner with parents in training their children in the ways of the Lord by providing Biblically sound teaching, activities, and experiences that will lead children to know Jesus and live a life for Him. Our approach to ministry is to appeal to Kid’s on their level by being FUN but also real and applicable to their lives. We want kids coming back for more! In each of the KidsView ministries children will be given opportunities to “Know” God in a way that is age appropriate, to “Grow” in their faith through Biblical teaching and life application, and to “Go” and serve God through various projects. Our prayer is that when kids leave KidsView they will have a foundation to build upon in youth and adulthood that will steady them for a lifetime!

Policies and procedures recommended by children’s ministry experts are implemented in the KidsView Ministry at Southview Baptist Church.  Background checks and a volunteer application are required for all KidsView ministry leaders.

Check In/ Check Out
 - Babies, toddlers and twos use a pager security system. Parents receive a pager at check in and must return before receiving their child at check out. This system allows the parent to be paged anywhere within the building.
 - 3's through 5th Grade use a security tag system. Parents receive a numbered security name tag at check-in. The number is recorded on the sign in sheet. At checkout, the parent must return the numbered portion which must match the name tag. During worship services, parent can be paged by displaying the assigned number on the digital displays located on the left and right sides of the stage in the sanctuary.
